'Eyrie' Solid Perfume
I was very surprised with this perfume. It was bought for me together with ‘Vale’ (‘Vale’ I am still testing). I thought that ‘Eyrie’ probably would not be my type because I tend to wear resinous-smoky perfumes. However, I like ‘Eyrie’ and I will definitely wear it. The beginning is quite sharp (like sticking my nose into lavender-ish bucket – I guess it is nerolina), then it becomes more complex and round, with some slight sweetness. To me it is round smooth “greenish things” on cliffs combined with a salty note. “The greenish things” are warm and that warmness envelopes a cool centre. There is plenty of air there. The dry down is definitely salty and dusky, “the green things” are now in a shadow. I am surprised with how a relatively simple composition of a few ingredients can deliver such a complex picture.
I have never divided perfumes into “summer – winter” periods yet this one is for summer, I think.
Lovely balance of scents , fresh and understated.
Thank you for the extra gift !
I am so happy with my purchase. This is the first time I have used a solid perfume and I just love it. The information that came with the product was really helpful and explained in detail how to use the product to get the longest wear out of it and a list of ingredients which was great.
The product is beautifully packaged and smells so amazing.
Thank you so much!
I love this scent. I would describe it as a complex floral. I started using this Aerie a few months ago. All of my life I’d used conventional French perfume, but never again. The perfume counter at the department store now smells to me like chemical fumes… well not a surprise - that is actually what it is!
I also really like Dragon Grove’s ‘Thicket’, it smells like a forest. And my husband likes Weald, a lovely complex spice scent. No more Chemical fumes for us.
